Recently I’ve been re-considering the whole free-lance thing, but this video. This video reminds me that we are all capable but first must over some our fears.

Hey man, In reply to your comment, Basically I was touring with a band called Orestea who I went to college with and Ashes were co-headlining, this was last January, and at the end of the tour Ashes asked me to tech for them. Been working with them ever since. C/A

Jason Galayda Answered:

Dope, I’ve been working as an engineer for about 4 years now but still waiting for the day to come along where i get to tour with a band. hopefully soon :)

An engineer, an LD, and a road manager are in the desert, waiting for the
overheated tour bus to cool down. They stumble across a magic lamp. The
engineer picks it up, rubs it, and a genie appears.

"Thank you for releasing me from the lamp. As a reward I will grant each
of you one wish. Choose wisely.”

The engineer thinks for minute and says, “I want a vacation. Send me to
Cancun. Surround me with beautiful women, the best food, and an endless
supply of margaritas.”

The genie nods his head, and in a puff of smoke the engineer disappears.
He turns to the LD and asks, “And for you?”

"Yeah, that sounds pretty nice, but I’m more of a ski-buff." says the LD,
“I want to go to Switzerland. A nice mountain resort, chicks, food,
booze…the whole deal.”

Again the genie nods his head and the LD vanishes. As he turns to the road
manager, the bus finally starts and the driver is signaling that he is
ready to leave. The genie turns to the road manager and asks what his wish
is.

The road manager quickly replied, “I want both of those guys back on the bus right now”.

This year my older brother surprised me with a technics SL2 turntable for christmas, this is great because I have no spent at least an hour a day since christmas looking up records I should get. Now I’m just counting down until pay-day because I know there a brand new Alice in chains “jar of flies” vinyl sitting at Record breakers(reggies) that i want so bad. Ohh this is so difficult!

This meme makes me so angry because it’s so on-target.

well to top it off I work entertainment production and must say I have had some of the hardest working crew I could ask for but I so appreciate the positive attitudes on the job site because we are all going through this together.
